Our Information Technology Office will establish your personal Coker email address. All Coker students, faculty and staff have a Coker email address. Your email address is essential to be able to receive communication from Coker.  Students can sign-in to their Coker University email account by visiting mail.bc178.cc.

Please reference your personal email account for the Welcome Email you received from your Student Success Coach for login information.

If you need assistance logging into your account, please call our IT support line at 843.383.8323 (Monday-Friday 8:30am- 5:00pm).  IT will need to verify your information so that we can help you with any questions or issues you may have while trying to access your account.

Have a smartphone? Be sure to download the Google Mail app so you can easily stay up to date on all things happening at Coker!

Student account statements will be uploaded to your CobraStop account once you have registered for your class(es). Please note that account statements are NOT mailed but can be viewed by logging into CobraStop and clicking on “Account Summary” located within the “Financial Information” section.

Balances should be paid before the beginning of each term.

Student payments are preferred to be sent online via CobraStop under the Financial Information section by selecting “Pay My Tuition”. Payments can also be submitted by check as a second option made out to Coker University and directed to the Office of Student Accounts.

New students are also required to complete the Financial Student Responsibility and Contact Consent Form before the Student Success Coach can register them for classes. You will find that form here.

New students who take classes online will complete the Virtual Coker Connection course in Brightspace. The Virtual Coker Connection course will introduce you to Coker University and provide you an overview of campus resources through a series of videos, webpages, and more. You will learn about the Student Success Center, Academic Expectations, Life as a Cobra, Technology at Coker, and Campus Resources.

You can access the course by logging into your Brightspace account here & selecting Virtual Coker Connection under Courses.  Please note that this course is self-paced and you do not have to complete it in one sitting. You are able to log-in and out as needed.

Students who have a car on campus will need to register their vehicle and display a parking decal on the car. Your parking decal will be available on the first day of classes at your respective campus.

• If you are an online or bridge student and will be utilizing resources on campus, please complete the parking registration form and we will mail the permit to you.

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is a federal law that protects the privacy of student education records. In general, information from a student’s educational records may not be disclosed without the student’s direct consent. • The Charles W. and Joan S. Coker Library–Information Technology Center (or, LITC for the in-crowd) offers a wide range of professional and academic services for students, faculty, and staff. We offer multiple computer and printing stations of the first floor; study rooms that can be checked out for up to three hours (first come, first serve); evening reference librarian services until 9pm every Monday and Thursday; book-a-librarian for one-on-one research help tailored to your needs; online chat assistance available from 8:30am-5pm Monday-Friday; special collections (including vinyl records, DVDs, CDs, and graphic novels); subscription-based scholarly databases that include free access to thousands of academic articles and eBooks; PASCAL Delivers (a free interlibrary delivery service that allows you to search and request books from participating colleges and universities in South Carolina); and much, much more! • Center for Health & Wellness: Operated in partnership with Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center and MUSC, the Center for Health & Wellness provides convenient access to healthcare professionals, prescription services, select over-the-counter medications, first aid, immunizations, labwork, and mental health counselors. • Career Development: Career Development resources are located in the Career Center to assist students with resume writing, graduate school selection, major selection, interest inventories, and many other services. For more information, click here.
• Coker Bookstore: The Coker Bookstore offers a variety of textbook purchasing options – new, used, rental and digital. The price comparison tool on our website allows you to compare our prices with the online marketplace and choose the purchase option that best meets your needs. Purchases may be made using cash, check, credit card, or, when available, Financial Aid. We also sell school supplies, Coker apparel, school spirit items, gifts, souvenirs, and drinks/snacks. • The Center for Quantitative Literacy (often affectionately referred to as the “QL Center”) is located on the first floor of the Charles W. and Joan S. Coker Library–Information Technology Center. The Center is equipped with computers and graphing calculators, with student and professional staff nearby to help you as you work on homework or study. Open tutoring is available for all mathematics courses. • The Writer’s Studio provides a rich, collegial environment where students collaborate and share their expertise to strengthen written communication.The Writer’s Studio prides itself on helping Coker students of ALL writing abilities. Beginning writers find experts who can help organize and present ideas, while more experienced writers find critical feedback that is an indispensable part of strong writing. • Office of Student Rights & Responsibilities: The Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities (OSRR) commits itself to providing a fair and engaging process for the resolution of alleged Code of Student Conduct violations. The OSRR aims to cultivate a safe and secure environment in which all students can succeed and grow as engaged community members. We promote responsibility and encourage honesty, integrity and respect among Coker students. Ultimately, we promote intentional education, behavioral standards and fair processes.
